Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR Skills Check (with eCard or annual skills)

Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR Skills Check is part two of the American Heart Association (AHA) HeartCode BLS course or annual skills check for Atrium Health teammates.  

This course is appropriate for initial training and renewals.     

ACLS Update Course (Renewal)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Update Course (Renewal)

Prerequisites include 

  • Performing high quality BLS skills
  • Reading and interpreting ECGs for ACLS
  • Understanding ACLS pharmacology
  • Completing ACLS pre-course self-assessment with a passing score > 70%

 

 

ACLS Full Course (One day)

Obstetrics Advanced Life Support

Obstetrics Advanced Life Support Full Course (One day) 

This class is exclusively for Atrium Health Teammates working in Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, High Risk Postpartum areas 

Prerequisites include

  • Atrium Teammates only 
    • Include OB specific facility and department information on registration or registration may be cancelled
    • Use AH email address 
  • Performing high quality BLS skills
  • Reading and interpreting ECGs for ACLS
  • Understanding ACLS pharmacology
  • Completing ACLS pre-work and pre-course self-assessment with a passing score > 70%
PALS Update Course (Renewal)

Life Support Instructor Class

 

 

Registration for Instructor courses is managed by CLSE team only. 

  • Instructor courses cover BLS, ACLS, and PALS 
  • To begin the application process, please download and complete the Instructor Candidate Application
    • A member of the CLSE team will review the application and follow up directly with next steps.
  • Instructor courses are open to Atrium Health teammates and affiliates only. 
    • Utilize system email in all correspondence
